I heard somewhere that from 2018 MHT CET exam will be compulsory for admission in sinhgad college of engineering pune. Is it true?

Allotment of seats in sinhgad college of engineeering,pune is carried out through the Maharashtra state level engineering counselling process based on the candidates’ rank or marks obtained in MHT CET.

• 65% of the total seats are reserved for Maharashtra state candidates.
• No minimum percentile of marks is required in case of SC/ST students.
• All candidates must appear for both Paper I (Mathematics) and Paper II (Physics & Chemistry)

Note that Sinhgad College of Engineering, Pune allows admission of candidates both through online and offline mode. The institute accepts valid scores of MHT-CET/ AIEEE entrance exams for various programs. S election will be completely done on the merit basis.
