Both the colleges are private and yes the reputation of techno India has increased as it has increased the number of placements from the college. Heritage has reputation from years and thus there is no doubt that you will not be fooled if you choose for heritage. But in my opinion more or less all these private colleges in Kolkata under wbjee are same and thus whatever college you are getting with your best take it.

Dear Ayush, There will be two aspects to the answer for this question.

If you seek to know the Quantitative report

Barring for CSE none of the departments have clocked over 50% placement, ECE Dept had around 45% students placed and IT Dept had around the same numbers.

All other Depts had about 20%–30% of their students placed barring Food Technology.

Coming to the Qualitative report of placements, 2018 was one of the best years in a long time. It did better than IEM and Heritage with many high paying companies hiring from Techno India with package as high as over 10LPA for some CSE students for development roles. Most of really good CSE/IT students got placed into good companies with over 6LPA packages.

So wisely choose your college. And most importantly do a thorough research about your stream before choosing any of the two colleges.
