I heard that some abroad countries (Philippines,China) do not require neet exam to study mbbs...... Is that true....
NEET 2024: Cutoff (OBC, SC, ST & General Category)
NEET 2024 Admission Guidance: Personalised | Study Abroad
NEET 2025: Syllabus | Most Scoring concepts | NEET PYQ's (2015-24)
It is not true! The Authorities have introduced NEET for those students who want to study Medicine abroad. This means that they have to answer and qualify for NEET and only then they will receive a NO OBJECTION LETTER (NOC) which is required for further visa processing and Admissions to Foreign Universities. Also, keep in mind, those who study abroad have to answer an MCI Examination after completion of their course, if they wish to practice in India. This is a licensing exam of India and only when you clear this Examination, you will be registered under MCI.
I hope I have answered your query! All the best!
However, it is better to go through an agency. There is a lot of formal processing that takes place.
Also, the MBBS course there is around 6 years.
And when you come back to India after completing MBBS, you have to answer MCI Examination which is required to gain license to practise in India.
