I heard that the marks of 11th and 12th is added to the entrance exam marks. Is it true??

You haven't specified the name of college here.
But as much I know 12 marks are not added to marks of any entrance exam but they are kept as minimum eligibility criterian separately for admission to various degree programs along with marks of entrance.
The minimum eligibility criterian for admission of various courses generally ranges from 40 to 55 and varies according to category of students as well as course he want to pursue. Generally reserved categories get 5 percent exemptions for minimum qualifiying percentage for 12 th.
In order to get some more details please mention the name of entrance exam.

Sorry for not mentioning the exam name. I was asking about JEE exam.
JEE is for engineering as well as architecture courses. The minimum eligibility criteria that you have to fulfill for taking admission to these courses is 50 percent (45 for reserved categories) in PCM and these marks will not get added to your entrance marks. College allotment will be totally based on marks secured in entrance.
