See there's a thumb rule. 50% marks wrt to the average marks of top 3 students land you up approx. 3000-3500 rank in IIT. This top 3 student average of 2019 JEE Advanced is coming around ~300 marks. With the stated thumb rule derived from previous year trends, we can assume that 150 marks for General Category students can get them approx 3000 rank. Now you've scored 101, which is quite beyond the 10000 rank mark in general. But because of Girls Quota you can still be in the list, but assume the rank range in General Common Merit to be above 10k only. I am collating data from NTA for this and previous years too. The will soon do a video on the same on my Youtube Video Channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCewz8SsFPfuvlCXFfGKhcnw?view_as=subscriber
how you guys are predicting mark of jee advanced 2019
Hello Mamun Mahapatra,
Predicting JEE ADVANCED rank vs marks is a tricky thing because it varies every year depending on the difficulty of the paper by IITs.
There are things like bonus questions which deflect the prediction as well. However you can use the Careers360 College predictor as well to find out about your expected rank and college as well.
