i hv updated Maharashtra under 15% eligibility instead of selecting some other state. I have Maharashtra domicile. Can I change it now.I have completed registration but not yet submitted the final application.

Sunil, if you have Maharashtra domicile, you should select Maharashtra in State Eligibility for All India Quota field. Because the State Eligibility is for the field of the State of which you hold the domicile of. It is understood that by default the rest of the States will be covered under All India Quota except for Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh.

Should state of eligibility under 15% quota be the state of domicile. I was told by coachong institute that 85% quota is anyway available in Maharashtra since I hv maha domicile. Hence 15% quota is to opt for other states as an alternative and may be selected by students for reasons such as being home town etc. By selecting Maharashtra under 15% eligibility, I understand that my entire 100% eligibility is only in Maharashtra since Maha is selected as state of eligibiliy and no chance of getting it in other states. This might spoil my chances of getting in another city in sone other state and might force us to move to interior Maharashtra just in case scores are not so good. Pl clarify whether this understading is correct.
