I just completed my diploma in computer science engineering from a government polytechnic, now I'm looking forward for b. Tech. Can you tell me about procedure, as I heard after diploma one gets admission in 2nd year directly.

You did not mention the name of the state you want to get admission in as for every state there are different rules but your profile says you are from Punjab so am telling you about Punjab.
Application forms were released on 30-Jun-2021 and then counselling process for PULEET 2021 started from August 16. The admission form is present online for the candidates who qualified PULEET 2021. The result was announced on August 10. Admission form can be filled by logging in to accounts for which the last date was August 31. Merit list is based on the performance in PULEET 2021. First round of counselling took place on September 04 and the second round counselling was scheduled on September 07.
Eligibility criteria are as follows:

- Candidates must have qualified the compartment in Diploma in Engineering before submitting their application for PULEET 2021
- They need to pass B.Sc. Degree from a recognized University which has got recognition from UGC, with at least 45% marks (40% for reserved category) and passed 12th standard with Mathematics as a subject or
- He/she must have passed diploma examination from an AICTE approved Institution. It is mandatory to obtain minimum 45% marks (40% for reserved category) in appropriate branch of Engineering/Technology or
- Passed D.Voc. Stream in the same sector
