Hello Shivam,
JAM exam is conducted for admission to various post graduate (PG) science programmes for admission to IITs.
According to eligibility criteria for IIT JAM Chemistry exam for taking admission to IITs, student must have studied Mathematics in Class 12th.
However, admission to National Institutes of Technology (NITs) and Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs) is offered through centralized counselling to M.Sc / M.Tech programmes (CCMN).
You wish to take admission in NITs M.sc programme, you can check the CCMN eligibility criteria. For eligibility criteria, you can refer to the link below-

NIT Rourkela will announce the eligibility criteria of CCMN 2018 on behalf of the other participating technical institutions in the month of May 2018. Stay updated about the same.
You will also need to check institute wise special eligibility (if any) before applying for some M.Sc programmes.
Hope this helps.
Good Luck!!
