IIST admission will be done based on JEE Advanced scores. The candidates have to register and fill out details about their JEE Advanced details. Candidates belonging to the general category must have scored at least 75 % aggregate marks in consolidation in 10+2.But the candidate must clear the JEE Advanced Exam.Refer the link to know more details about reservation.

Dear Adarsh, IIST offer admission only on the basis of Jee Advanced, GATE, JEST, UGC NET.

So you just complete your 12th, so try to get very good marks in jee advanced and achieved you dream. First, you have to clear jee mains then you are eligible for jee advanced.

Last year cutoff of jee advanced for a general is 72, sc 36,obc 65.

The eligibility crieria is following:

• Candidates must have studied PCM as main subjects in 10+2
• Candidates who have studied Biology, Statistics, Electronics, Computer in addition to PCM are eligible to apply
• Minimum of 60% marks
