NEET 2025: Syllabus | Most Scoring concepts | NEET PYQ's (2015-24)
Hello aspirant,
As you asked you MBBS Abroad or taking drop. I would suggest you to take drop as government is introducing many new laws regarding FMG(Foreign medical graduates). As per new NMC rule after doing your MBBS from abroad you have to do 1 year internship in India after doing FMGE or as now NEXT and the minimum course duration should be 4.5 years not less than that so have to choose your college very carefully.
Lets calculate number of years you need to invest more as compared to mbbs in India. In india its of 5 years 3 months now.
In most abroad country its 6 years + 1 year internship in india = 7 years.
Most importantly Disease also vary lets assume in india malaria has most of cases so you have to study that carefully but in abroad it might not be so they won't teach you malaria enough in deep. When you came ti india for NEXT or FMGE they will ask you about malaria in deep because its major Disease in india as you might have not study it in deep you might not be able to answer that question that precisely and efficiently.
Hopefully i have cleared your doubt.
