To start I had say both are completely different things. I would suggest two things, first check how good are your basics in sciences and mathematics. Also do you feel comfortable with sciences. Look out for options which engineering offers. If they excite you can opt for engineering.
You can go for MBA after completing your BTech.
If you are sure to not ot pursue BTech try to look for other programs like BBA or integrated BBA+MBA ( like the one in IIM Indore ).

If you like technical stuff, want to build up something, then go for engineering!
Want to stand on your feet and run a business organization on your own having 1000s of employees working under you? Then go for Management studies!
But as you said you like engineering and Management, then better go Integrated B.Tech + MBA, this is just like doing engineering and management, but instead of doing bachelor's and master's degree for 6 years you do it for 5 years! In this way, you will have both degrees in your hand along with the knowledge of engineering and management!
