I live in Chinchwad, pune. I want to do M.A. Education through correspondence course as iam working as principal in a school.

M.A. Education is a postgraduate course whose duration is generally of 2 Years with 4 Semesters.The duration and the semester system may vary as per institutes rules and regulation.

The course is supposed to be completed by a candidate in a minimum of 2 years time and in a maximum of 5 years time, this time may vary.

M.A. Education is basically a theoretical course which focuses on the basic knowledge of theory and practice of educational thought and processes accumulated around the discipline of education. It encompasses a series of BASIC subjects which are designed in a way to cover basics of all the areas of educational concern and many Advanced Courses (Theoretical or Applied) in areas demanding specialization of one or the other kind, followed by Research Dissertation.

Eligibility-

For this course one must have a bachelor's degreee from a UGC/AICTE or any other government body approved college. Then they must fit in the criteria set by the college and then clear the exams taken by the institutes as there is no central exam for it.

as per your location i have shortlisted 2 main colleges which would be easy for you to commute as one needs to go to the college sometimes to submit the assignments or give the written exams.

The tution fees for this college is around 3500(approx)

The admission criteria for the college is -

Graduation in any discipline, preferably Arts, from a recognized university.

Selection is this college is done based on merit obtained at the level of graduation/ performance in a relevant entrance test.

• KC College Churchgate, Mumbai

Fees-51000 tuition fees (approx)

The selection criteria is common as per the the above college but here on eneeds to have atleast 50% marksin the graduation. Then there will be a proper exam and interview conducted by the college.

As ma'am you are already working s a principle then you would be able to decide any of the college or else if it is comfortable to you to have a corresondance course from outside of maharashtra then kindly comment down below, I would give a better college on those basis.
