I live in maharashtra my surname is gupta and I want to fill form for neet but caste certificate required for form filling but some people saying that you have to make creamy certificate (obc ncl) and now I very confused

You belong to obc ncl or obc cl i. e creamy layer?

• OBC  cl i.e obc creamy layer candidates are those whose parents annual income is more than 8 lakhs  per annum and they are not eligible for reservation

• obc ncl i. e Obc non creamy layer are those candidates whose parents annual income is less than 8 lakh per annum and they are eligible for reservation

So, if you are obc creamy layer then while filling the Neet application form you must choose general as your category.

If you belong to obc ncl,

Then while filling neet application, yes, you need to upload obc ncl certificate.

And you are eligible for selecting obc ncl in neet application form only if :-

• You are in the central list of obc ncl . Central list :- http://www.ncbc.nic.in/User_Panel/CentralListStateView.aspx

• Your obc ncl certificate is issued on or after 1st january 2022

• Your obc ncl ertificate is in the format prescribed by NTA

• it is issued by any of the competent authorities provided below :-

-----------------------) District Magistrate or Additional Magistrate or Ist Class Stipendiary Magistrate or sub-Divisional Magistrate or Taluka Magistrate or Executive Magistrate

-----------------------)Extra Assistant Commissioner (not below the rank of 1st Class Stipendiary Magistrate.)

-----------------------) Chief Presidency Magistrate or Additional Chief presidency Magistrate or Presidency magistrate.

-----------------------)Revenue Officer ( not below the rank of Tehsildar )

-----------------------) Sub-Divisional Officer of your area

If you don't have OBC ncl certificate, still you can choose obc ncl as your category by filling Self declaration in the lie of obc ncl certificate which is on page number  100 of neet 2022 information brochure.

-------------------------------)  step 2:-fill the the application form:- Now login using above generated registration number and password, then fill the application form,you need to fill details like your personal details,  your academic details you need to you choose the medium of your Neet question paper , select cities for your examination centre etc

-------------------------------) step3:-Upload your documents

Now you need to go for uploading your documents.

Documents to be uploaded  are :-

>>>>>> your passport size photograph,(size: 10 kb to 200 kb)

>>>>>> your postcard size photograph (4”X6”) (Size: 10 kb to 200 kb)

• your photographs  must be taken  on or after 01.01.2022  and  preferably mentioning  the name of the student and the date on which the photograph was clicked

• you shouldn't be wearing any cap or goggle,

• spectacles are allowed only if you use them regularly.

• at least 80% face coverage should be there in your photographs

• your ears should be visible

• Should be coloured one

• the background should be white.

• Should be in jpg format

>>>>>> your Signature  (size :-4 kb to 30 kb)

• Full signature

• in running hand means not in capital letters, in jpg format.

• on white paper

• with black ink

>>>>>> your left & right hand thumb and finger impression (10 kb to 200 kb ):-

• with blue ink

• on white paper  in JPG format.

• Should not be blurry

• Should be scanned one

• Right Hand Thumb impression can be used in case of non- availability of  left-hand thumb due to any eventuality

>>>>>>Your Class X pass certificate

• size: 50 kb to 300kb

>>>>>>category certificate if you belong to ews/ obc ncl/sc/st
