I live in southern part of Rajasthan so nit surat is closer than nit calicut. I am getting cse in both. Which should i take?

i would recemmond you to go for svnit because it is near your house and the ranking is also better than nit, calicut.

But isn't nit calicut better than nit surat. Also nirf ranking of nit calicut is 28 while nit surat is 58

trust me NIRF rankings are not trust worthy now. it has started ranking private universities on top while they stand no where in front of iits and nits.do what is more convinient to you and i swear it doent matter after 4 years.it all depends on your CGPA and personality.
K.What about nit trichy, surathkal and warangal cse. I have put them on top 3 in my preference list. What are your suggestions on it.
I just saw that surat has computer engineering while calicut has computer science and engineering. Aren't they different?
yes there is a minor difference between computer and computer science engineering.computer engineering is more of digital hardware and cs is more of programming and developing softwares.subjects are almost the same. compare the syllabus, you will get to know the difference.
