I lost internship bhel original certificate but I have xerox is it ok to have xerox instead of original

Hey there
It depends on the recruiter demand see if they just want to have a soft copy of your certificate or they just want to verify by the serial number then they may agree with Xerox or otherwise sometimes recruiters may ask for original certificates to avoid forgery. You may ask for a new certificate from the company where you did internship too most of the time they are ready to help.
