According to the MH CET Law Eligibility Criteria for admission to the three years law programme, candidate should have a graduation degree in a any subject. The degree should be awarded by college or University recognized by UGC and should have followed a 10+2+3 education pattern.
Candidates are required to have secured a minimum of 45 percent marks in the aggregate of subjects and candidaes belonging to the SC/ST categories of Maharashtra state are required to have scored 40 percent aggregate marks.
Also, As per the recent directive by Bar Council of India, candidates who have completed class 12th or graduation through distance mode will be considered eligible for admission. However, candidates who have completed Class12th or Graduation through open universities system directly without having any basic qualifications for pursuing such studies are not eligible for admission in law courses.
