I m a PCM student.. i wanna pursue Ba English hons. from DU...will there be % deduction even if i have English in 12th bcz of stream change?

Hello aspirant,

There will be no deduction of marks in your case because you already have English as your core/elective subjects. A deduction is only done when you don't include the subjects in which you are specialising.

The eligibility criteria to get admission in BA English honours is

  • Passing 10+2 from a recognised university with minimum 50% marks and English as a compulsory subject.
  • Taking rest three courses from list of academic subjects. Otherwise a deduction of 1-2.5 percent is done.
