Good luck.
Dear Yash, there is no particular discipline that Candidates need to have a Bachelor's degree to be eligible for CAT. The minimum aggregate that you need to score in your Bachelor's degree is 50% for General Category and 45% for Reserved Categories. Now IIMs have Academic Diversity factor under which Professional courses are given weightage. Infact their rating scale is different from the regular Bachelor's degree rating scale. So, with your BVSc qualification, you can appear for CAT. In most regular MBA colleges, you can select your specialisation in the 2nd year and so you will have time to decide which specialisation you want to set your career path in.
Yes you can totally apply for MBA if you want to but to be honest and if you ask for my opinion just be open to ideas . But before switching just think wisely and carefully because you have devoted so much of time for doing veterinary medicine. I hope you understand what I mean to say . But it totally depends upon you . Go through different websites, portals online and check better for MBA . There are so many ways to success but your path towards your success is always going to be remain yours . So think and research before you jump into it .
Best wishes
