Hello,

For giving a UPSC exam a candidate must have as a minimum one of the following educational qualifications:

  • A degree from a Central, State or Deemed university
  • A degree received through correspondence or distance education
  • A degree from an open university
  • A qualification recognized by the Government of India as being equivalent to one of the above

So, you need to firstly complete your undergraduation in BA honours and UPSC exam can only be given once you attain the age of 21 years and can be attempted for a maximum for 7 times till the age of 32.

As for preparation there are many coaching institutes and online study material available which you can refer to and pursue along with your course. Time management will be the key here as you need to focus both, so manage your time efficiently.

Good luck.
