yes of course you can. and obviously in the VIT, they never see the marks scored. and if the 95 is for JEE, then there can be numerous government and private colleges which can be within your reach of securing the mechanical branch.
VITEEE never provides total mark scored by the student in the result. VITEEE result only provides your rank in the exam.
So, mark vs. rank is unpredictable for VITEEE.
Below 7000 ranks in VITEEE will fetch you Computer Science & Engineering, under 13000 ranks will land you Electronics and Communication Engineering and under 19000 ranks will fetch you Mechanical Engineering at VIT Vellore campus under category A.
