If you want to do MBA after your B.Com you have to apply and clear either National Level MBA Entrance Exam of State Level MBA Entrance Exam.If you want to join IIM,which is the topmost institute for MBA in India , you need to clear CAT(Common Admission Test) with a high percentile. To apply for MBA Entrance Exam the minimum eligibility is Bachelor's Degree with minimum 50% of marks (45%of marks for SC/ST) from recognized university.
The most common national level MBA Entrance Exams in India to join many A list colleges are CAT, CMAT, XAT, SNAP, GET, MAT etc. There are other exams at state level like TANCET for Tamilnadu,ICET for Andhra Pradesh,PGCET for Karnataka etc . All these exams have more or less the same syllabus and will include sections like Quantitative Aptitude, Logical Reasoning, Verbal Ability, Data Interpretation, Data Sufficiency and General Knowledge .While applying you will be asked to choose 5-6 institutes of interest and after you clear the exam , based on the cutoffs the colleges will send you interview call letter . After personal interview there will be a group discussion round to clear as well, based on which you will be selected.
So you have to decide which institute to join and visit their website to know the admission procedure and eligibility requirements,so that you can select the exam you need to clear and prepare accordingly. The main skill needed to clear these entrances are speed and accuracy. Therefore the most effective way to prepare is practicing or solving previous year question papers.

Hi Dhruv!
The admission for MBA has already started in various Colleges across the Nation! Almost all Colleges will require you to have a decent score in any of the following exams like CAT, XAT, IIFT, CMAT, SNAP, MAT, KMAT, etc,. Along with some Colleges might expect you to attend their own Entrance Exams. For MBA Admission, other factors which are considered more than your score are Group Discussion and Personal Interview. If you peform good in these, then you can get admission. So, first analyse which college you are willing to join and look for what Entrance Exams that college requires you to pass. Then apply and prepare for that Entrance Exam. After getting the score apply for the college and continue the process!
Hope this is helpful!
