I m not belong to the background of agriculter can i take this subject for upsc as optional subject??

you neednt be having any background if you want to choose an optional!!

remember that any and every optional is the same for upsc.



each one has got its merits and demerits.



go with what your heart tells but use mind before going.



see the syllabus of the optional you want to take,for example agriculture if you want to take seeee the syllabus,see the previous years question papers try to establish the link between them and try to find answers for them using the net.



take some standard book for one of the optional or for some topic in it,read it for few days and see if it keeps you going and check whether you can reflect what you studied in your writing.



trust me every optional if you go deeper it would be hard.



be determined enough to learn the optional until you get it.simply shifting the optioonal subject wont fetch you any.



and coming to agriculture optional it is more of biology background,but never the less you can take and do it and you might one day top it also with out any background.



all it takes is your discipline,consistency and determination.
