The number of attempts which a candidate can avail at JEE (Main) is limited to 03 (three). I kindly request you to get more information about it from Information Brochure 2017 provided on the official website of JEE Mains

I could like to inform you that this is the one and only engineering entrance exam which has 3 attempts in India i.e., you are only eligible to give JEE mains in 2018.
