I m persuing civil engineering, right now i m in 2nd year of btech. My only target is to secured is best rank in GATE. But i'm lit bit confused. After achieve a good rank where will i go? Its PSUs or IITs? Can anyone help me out of this... Thanks.

After qualifying Gate with a good rank you have many options to get in.
Previously Gate score was only useful for getting admissions for M.Tech. But now you can even get a job opportunities in PSUs , private sector as well
If you are willing to do M.tech in IITs and NITs then you can go with it.
If you want to choose a job go with it.
