Hi there Kishlay!

Well, we've all been there, haven't we? Coming out of college graduates with a huge career confusion in mind. Fret not, because you're not alone and you're free to choose the career path you want. Before you jump in randomly, it's important to know which path suits you and thus, knowing the various career options beforehand would be a wise thing to do. Here's the list of options you can consider.

1. SSC CGL - For various posts in CBI, NIA, Income tax, various Ministries of the government.

Pattern - It has 4 tier exams where tier 1 and 2 tests your general awareness, English, aptitude and reasoning skills. Tier 2 deals only with Maths and English. Once you're done with it you would be eligible for tier 3 and tier 4 which is an essay writing and computer proficiency test.

Preparing for about 6 months and polishing up different parts of your aptitude, and reasoning skills will help you score more. Start now. Read more newspapers to improve English and start working on your aptitude skills.

2. IBPS- PO, CLERK, SBI-PO, CLERK, Various Bank exams

If you're keen about securing a job in a PSU, this exam will help you get there. The syllabus is pretty much the same but will be focused on Aptitude, logical reasoning, and English both in the prelims and the mains stage. You will also have a personal interview stage here. The perks of the job are great with a decent salary, house rent allowance and other yearly perks but one has to be ready to move to rural places depending upon the posting.

3. RBI- GRADE B, Assistant.

This again is a higher level bak examination but the pattern is quite different. You'd have to be thorough with finance and economics before you attempt this exam and you should go through social issues. Apart from that aptitude and reasoning skills is also quite important.

4. LIC, NIACL - AAO

These are insurance exams which follow a similar pattern as that of bank exams and thus one has to apply for both while preparing. The perks are comparatively higher here and workload isn't as much. One gets to be posted in metro regions too.

5. UPSC

UPSC hs different exams under it like civil services, IES, CAPF, and Indian Forest services. If you have a desire to serve the nation and have the time and money to dedicate for it, then you have a chance.

6. SSB - AFCAT, Indian Navy, Army

If you're inclined towards the armed forces, the AirForce, Navy, and Army release notifications for various positions.

7. MBA

If nothing works out and you want to pursue management education, CAT is what you need to bell.

Good luck with whatever decision you take. Feel free to contact for further queries.
