Hello Sarang,

I think, you worked very hard in this attempt and this is quit good figure/marks.

You have to try next time with a hard work.

With this marks, you would get admission in NITs.

You have to prepare yourself for next time and this time GATE and IES both. And apply for RRB JE ,SSC JE also

I am from also mechanical engineering, so I can say 45 marks is good score in GATE.

you got a decent score in gate , while by this score you can either used for getting job in PSU and getting addmission for MTech. i would like suggest you try our tool for getting to know which college and PSU jobs as just by your marks its hard to say which all the colleges you would get since lot many factors come into consideration like caste , gate score out of 1000,your graduation , so i would like to say go for our tool called college predictor or PSU jobs, that would give you exact results

I live in Nagpur , I was thinking of taking admission in vnit (for stipend). I also got placed in college campus in a core mechanical company which offered me 3.5 lpa package in mumbai.Actually I wanted to take drop for gate preparation but financially I am not that strongPlease suggest me which among these should I choose as I want to prepare for gate20 ?

Frankly to say its really great for you as being mechanical engineer you got placed in core with 3 lpa go ahead in company along with that in free time prepare for the gate very efficiently , let me tell for mtech or PSU recruitment the work experience also matter to get set in good place

But sir I feel that if I join company, then my chances of getting good rank will be less & won't it be hard to work and study for gate simultaneously? Also I heard that there is an age limit to PSUs.
