Once you have paid the money that means you have confirmed your seat allotted in the respective round. Now if you do not catch up the allotted seat in the previous round then your security money will be forefeited and you may lose your seat. So be careful in choice filling and the choice filling facility is there for this reason that the candidate can fill the choices as per the preference and then he/she can get the admission in the choice of their institute. And every time you do not have to pay the money it is for the security purpose that the candidate cannot leave the allotted seat abruptly.
Hello Parvez,
You donot need to pay security money in second round again.
The security money conditions are as follows:
Suppose you have deposited security money in first round then
- If you dont get any seat, security money will be refunded.
- If you get a seat but you donot want that seat, money will be refunded(free exit in first round of counselling).
Now if you choose to go for second round of counselling then
- If you donot get a seat, security money will be refunded.
- If you get a seat, security money will not be refunded(no matter if you take the seat or not).
Hope it helps!
