Dear Aspirant,
Do not worry, most of us end up ruining our 11th class due to a dramatic change in our school life transitioning from 10 to 11th. If you think that you're 11th is ruined academically which is actually not the case, you can do one most important thing. Get a grip on your basics, never let go of your basics. If you have a strong foundation you can build a big house over it. So if you are deciding to prepare from next year, then just be in touch with the basics this year.
Then when you start preparing you'll not find it hard to keep up with your preparation whenever you start. Also, Don't repeat the same mistake again in 12th. If you're really interested in doing engineering from a good college, then please don't pass time in your 12th. Study religiously. If you get into a good college then you'll enjoy many perks there, you'll find good friends and also a good job in the end.
Buy coaching material of some good coaching institute like ALLEN, resonance or Aakash. This will help you a lot as their material is prepared in accordance with the JEE exam pattern.
Hope this helps. Thank you.
Dear Raj, you can but why do you want to discontinue your studies for a year? Let's say if you score less, you can always appear for Improvement exams. The issues whatever might be are just a phase and they do not run for a long time. So, if you shall let this pass, you can actually relax. Let's say if you do not score good in your 11th, appear for improvement exams if your board allows to do so. This way you do not waste a year. You acknowledging the fact that studies are taking a back step is the first step towards solving your issues. Conduct a SWOT analysis on your current situation. Write down your Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats and also write down atleast 1 point as how you can retain your strengths and opportunities and work on your weaknesses and threats. This might help you.
