You can surely do engineering now. Just you've to study mathematics from NIOS board and pass the exam with minimum required marks.

Candidates must qualify their 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board as per the basic eligibility criteria for Jee mains.

NIOS candidates can also apply for this exam.

Yes you can obviously do that. All you need to do is to qualify Mathematics exam from NIOS and you should qualify the minimum marks criteria for getting admission through JEE Mains or other engineering exams.
