You have not clearly mentioned, why you have taken a gap

As per Inspire Scholarship eligibility criteria, The candidate should be 17-22 years old. The candidate must be amongst the top 1% in xii grade examination. The candidates who are amongst the top 10,000 rank holders in her and have opted for Basic sciences are eligible.

In 2021 your age will be between 17-22 years but you may not get scholarship as this year there will be different merit list and top  10,000 rank holders will be eligible  for scholarship. Also there is scholarship cut off list, which will not include your name.
