I qualified for the NEET and getting a government college in India but I still want to go to Russia for MBBS should I do it is there any difference between the MBBS syllabus and books in India in Russia?
Well, You have already qualified NEET to get into a good government college, then I'm sure you are a studious person.
Talking about Studies,
Well, the books and the knowledge you gain are all same everywhere.
But there are some extra subjects you will have to pay attention to in Russia.
Like in our 1st year, 1st sem we had to attend classes for
Latin language - It is important as most of the medical terms are in Latin and in whichever country we would be in future it would be useful for us.
Law - We were made aware of some laws and protocols as doctors.
History - We had some lectures because there's a rule that we need to know something about the great philosophers and the country we are going to study in.
Physics - We were taught about some probabilities and statistics about the patient's report on this subject.
Well, we had to just attend the classes of all the above subjects and not give any exams.
It was kind off fun learning somethings other than actual studies and also these were some proxy classes between our busy schedules. These were the non-stressful classes.
Other subjects are the same as in India and you can either bring books with you or all kinds of books are available in the university library.
So feel free to use it.
If you want to do MBBS from Russia, then do it.
Because you will be happy doing what you wanted and not what others told you to.
And also, many medical aspirants every year consider MBBS abroad, so it is not a bad option.
Best of Luck
