I am giving you one best opinion apply this every exam you will give in future. Even if you just score marks which is only +1 to cutoff then also you should apply for every counseling. Any thing can happen in spot rounds. So, you should apply for every counseling related to jee exam if you cleared it.

With the score of 35 in jee main 2018 and a rank of 29660 you don't have any chance of getting NITs or CFTIs  even after being a reserved category candidate but there are some self financed Colleges in which you can get admission

My suggestions would be drop a year .
