Dear Student,
As 70% questions are from NCERT in the exam. On can easily score 70-75% marks in the same. NCERT covers all the important topics and syllabus which are sufficient to get a good marks in the exam. Try to underline the important topics and make key points according to your understandings and convinience. Apart from NCERT, you can refer the following books for the complete 30% preparations.
- Concepts of Physics by H. C. Verma.
- NCERT- Physics Part 1 and Part 2.
- D C Pandey Objective Physics.
- Fundamentals of Physics by Halliday, Resnick and Walker.
- Problems in General Physics by I. E. Irodov.
Hello Rohan,
I would like to tell you that out of 90 questions, nearly 70 are from NCERT.
If you just prepare from NCERT then you can get maximum of these correct.
Still if you miss 5-10 questions then here comes the point of those 25-30 questions which account for 120 crucial marks. Here is where competition arises.
For these 30 questions, study very carefully and precisely.
Go through the papers, coaching material and try to maximize your marks in this area.
So you have to have some other book knowledge also apart from NCERT for that 25-39 questions section.
Human and plant physiology and ecology are very important topics. SO prepare them well and do remember mnemonics/some shortcuts of important things to maximize your score.
I would suggest you visit the careers360's link given below which ahs a detailed explanation of the NCERT tips and tricks.
