Hello

Since the minimum eligibility to appear in GATE exam is to have a B.Tech degree. So either you have M.Tech degree with yourself or not it will not cause any problem.

hope this will help you.

Good luck!!

hi,

see gate exam is mainly for admission to m.tech course or to get job in private sector undertakings. the minimum eligibility criteria for gate exam is candidates must completed b.tech or m.sc  or in final year of 4 years b.tech course or m.sc course. so since you have completed b.tech you are eligible to apply. it does not matter that you did not mention about m.tech to appear in gate exam, however when you would apply for psu you may add your m.tech qualifications.
