i recently give 12th sci exam i want to join navy i don't know when we applied for nda so i don't apply in nda so can i any another way to join indian navy

There are 5 ways to join Indian Navy

1) NDA entry - for NDA , written  exam followed by SSB for successful candidates. Only men can apply.

Eligibility - 10+2 ( with physics and Mathematics)

Notification Date - May and April

Exam date- April and September

2) 10+2 (B.Tech) cadet entty- Navy announced it 10+2 technical entry of Army.

Eligibility- Boys who have passed 10+2 with physics and Mathematics with 70% as aggregate can apply for this entry.

Applications are shortlisted based on percentage and SSB calls are given to eligible candidates.

Notification - October or November

3) CDSE entry - it is Combined Defence Service Examination , conducted by UPSC, twice every year.

• Eligibility - BSC with physics and Mathematics or Bachelor of Engineering

Exam type - written exam followed by SSB for successful candidates.

Notification - June and December

4) UES Entry - This is short Service Commission Entry, UES stands for University Entry Scheme.

Eligibility - Male candidates of pre final year or Final test can apply for this entry.For Naval Architecture both men and women can apply.

Those who pass Final year with 60% aggregate in all papers are eligible.

Exam type- preliminary interview in college followed by SSB for successful candidates.

Notification - keep checking  ( approximately around July)

5) Graduate Direct Entries - These entries can be for branches like IT, Piolot, Logistic etc.

Exam type - Direct cut off percentage decided by Navy, candidates above that are called for SSB.

Gender - Both men and women can apply.

Notification Date - keep checking website and career website of Navy.
