Hi Gokul!

Since you are a native of Kerela, you are not eligible to apply for seats that come under the Tamil Nadu state quota. You can opt for Tamil Nadu seats only via All India Quota. Tamil Nadu state quota seats are exclusively reserved for Tamil Nadu Domicile holders.

Hope this helps!

But I heard it's compulsory to register to Tamil nadu or non native states for applying in AIQ

If you are applying via All India Quota, you will be eligible. If you were asking about state quota, then you won't be eligible since you hold a domicile of Kerela.

For all India Quota, you don't need to produce domicile of the state that you want admission in.

Hope this clears things up.

Hey Gokul,

To avail the admission you have to submit n number of certificates and one of them is the domicile certificate. If you're a native of Tamil Nadu, the domicile certificate proves it. If you fail to submit it then you won't be allowed to take admission during the state counseling.

I hope this helps you, good luck!
