    I saw previous year cutoff IITDM...there i saw (ALL SPECIAL ROUND RANKS ARE AI CRL)......BUT WHEN I SAW FOR EWS , GENERAL THEY WERE DIFFERENT WHY?? WHEN IT'S WRITTEN THEY'LL SEE ONLY CRLs THEN WHY IN EWS ,SC AND GEN HAVE DIFFERENT PLZ TELL?? THX

    Hi. First of all, IITs don't have spot rounds. They only allot seats through normal counseling. So the ranks you see there are the category ranks itself. Spot or special rounds are conducted only for nits/iiits/gftis. In spot rounds, CRL is considered and not the category rank.
