Hello,
Congratulations on clearing CLAT! The CLAT cutoffs for the first 3 rounds have been released.Regfarding the vacant seat scenario it varies with respect to the number of candidates woh have taken admission in the first 3 rounds. Now there are transfers and alos change of colleges.
Based upon the rank and marks thgat you have scored it is not quite possible for you to get admission in the NLUs through vacant seats. Now I cannot totally assure you on that since if there are many vacant seats left then you may have some chances, though they are minimal. Now based on your domicile,NLU Bhopal has 65 seats available for admission by All India Category.
You have better chances in the private colleges accepting scores for CLAT 2019.
Thank you.
The cut off for admission in any of the National Law Universities through CLAT in the previous year was a rank in the range of 1600 for the general category. Considering that your rank is 3317, you do seem to have some chances for any of the National LawUniversities if you belong to the general category but they are a little less. Usually there are vacancies in the lower NLUs as people leave their seats for other colleges. You might have a fair chance then. But vacancies are very uncertain and you might/ might not have a chance. Various low tier and middle tier NLUs have already started announcing their vacant seats and forms are to be filled. So make sure to be updated with their offcial websites. Usually with a rank under 3000 chances are good.
Also, try to keep back up options and don't rely entirely on vacanies. if you have other optiona various non NLU law colleges and even private colleges are better than the lower tier NLUs. So you can prefer joining those instead of waiting for vacancies. As far as the last allotment lists are concerned your chances aren't much.
Other than colleges with their own entrances, There are various Private Colleges that accept CLAT scores other than the National Law Universities. You might even have a chance for colleges under IPU, Delhi if you applied there.
Here is a list of a few of them.
Jindal Global Law School, Sonepat
Kirit P. Mehta School of Law, Mumbai
