Hello,

As per last year's trends, the percentile required to qualify for jee advanced is given below.

General:- 87.89%tile

General ews:- 66.22%tile

Obc ncl:- 68.03%tile

ST:- 34.67%tile

SC:- 46.88%tile

According to the previous year's trend, you are not eligible for jee advanced. But you should wait for the cutoff percentile (as the cutoff varies every year)  which will be released by NTA along with the result after the final jee main exam.

There are very few chances of getting a government college like IIT/NIT/IIIT with this percentile. But Admission to any government college will be based on your jee rank. When the official results will be announced then you have to apply for counselling like JOSAA, jac or any of your respective state counselling. If you belong to sc/st category then you may get any government college in your state. H

Hope this helps. All the best.

Hello,

Kindly let me know your category in the comment section so that i can give you the right insights of the possibilities which you can get.

As of now i am treating you as a general category candidate as you haven't mentioned your category so 22 percentile is a very low score even for obc /ews categories and even for sc/st categories.

So, i would suggest you to keep some private colleges as a backup as thay would be a much safer option rather than going through josaa counselling.

The backup colleges such as :-

  1. SRM University
  2. VIT vellore
  3. Manipal University
  4. Kalinga institute of industrial technology
  5. Comedk colleges
  6. West bengal colleges

Hello Aspirant,

See till now the official qualifying cut-offs have not been released and the qualifying cut-off percentiles are released along with final result of JEE-Main 2022 which will be released after both the sessions i.e. most probably in August '22.

But o n such percentile, fi you are a General candidate then you have almsot no chances to qualify for JEE-Advance 2022 but still the cutoffs for this year have not released yet officially.

As the cut-offs are released along with the JEE-Main 2022 result so for now you can get an idea from JEE-Main 2021 qualifying cut-offs that are enlisted below :-

==>> Common Rank List (CRL) - 87.8992241-100.0000000 Percentile

==>> GEN-EWS - 66.2214845-87.8950071 Percentile

==>> Other Backward Classes (OBC-NCL) - 68.0234447-87.8950071 Percentile

==>> Scheduled Caste (SC) - 46.8825338-87.8950071 Percentile

==>> Scheduled Tribe (ST) - 34.6728999 87.8474721 Percentile

==>> PwD - 0.0096375-87.8273359 Percentile

Note that in above table it is not the actual cut-off for JEE-Main 2022 but previous year's cut-off.

You can check out previous year's cut-off trends from the link given below :-

On such rank any of the government engineering college is tad difficult but you can try for some private colleges.

To have a list of all those colleges which you can get based upon your JEE-Main score or rank you can use JEE-Main College Predictor:-
