Hi, you have got a good score in neet your general rank can be somewhere around 21300-25200 according to last year statistics. Seats in Maharashtra state is divided into 2 Categories 15% All india quota and 85% state quota and further state quota is divided into 70% regional and 30% state quota. In state quota seats you need 567 marks for grant medical college,536 for lokmanya tilak medical college etc. Coming to your question you can get govt. The chances of getting a government seat with 493 marks are very low, as most government colleges require at lease 500+ marks, even considering your category and state quota. You do have a high chance of being waitlisted with your score, with a less chance of getting a seat.
