Candidates who want to join Merchant Navy should have a Bachelors degree in either Nautical Science or Marine Engineering.



By doing a one year programme 'Graduate Marine Engineering' is important for you to do to become eligible for Merchant Navy.



You should have at least 60% with pcm and English as subjects in higher secondary.



You also need to fulfill the health and age requirements.

Due to your class 12 marks you are not eligible.

The eligibility criteria requires you to complete your 12th from a recognized board in Science stream having Physics,Chemistry and Mathematics. You need to score between 55 percent to  70 percent(varies for different colleges). Admission is through entrance examination like IMU CET, MERI Entrance Exam etcetera.

Eligibility Criteria for merchant Navy is :



You should have completed 12th class with science stream.

You should have minimum 60% marks in 12th.

You should be unmarried.

Your age should be below 20 years.



You don't fit well in the criteria academically as well as your age is also above 20 as you are a B.tech graduate.
