Hi. Its a brave and a nice decision to go for a drop to get into your dream IIT. But it will be a tough journey and I hope that you come out with flying colors. Now getting back to the point of the strategy and chapters, lets talk about strategy first .
STRATEGY
JEE ADVANCED will be conducted in around May 2021 , so there are 6-7 months left to prepare for it . Amidst this covid-19 , it will be really beneficial for you to take the help of e-learning sources if you already ain't into one. You need to be very smart in your preparations and as well as work hard to achieve your target of 150 marks.
1) Solve previous year questions and enroll for online mock tests . This tip is given by everybody since its necessary to get an idea about the difficulty of the exam as well as for checking your preparedness. Solve as many questions as possible and analyze it at the end.
2) You need to have faith in yourself that you can do it . You have all the skills, brain, talent everything. Don't listen to what everyone else has to say. Just be determined and never divert yourself from studying.
3) Study everyday for atleast 7-8 hours. Read the content you have learnt from the class, solve questions related to it , solve your DPPs . Since online classes are going on presently and its not as attractive as the actual classes , still try your best to understand everything that is being taught. Don't try to skip those, you might pay for it later.
4) Stop all your distractions . Even if you want to watch youtube, watch something which is related to your subject. Wasting time in entertainment in your drop year is taboo. You will regret it later .
5) Work on your weaknesses. Practice what you feel you are weak at and boost your confidence . Don't leave any topic out if you have enough time to cover it. Every question counts in JEE Advanced.

Here are some point which may help you to score 150+ in jee mains :
1. When you are starting, don't think that you have ample amount of time or be like(Abhi toh bht tym pda hai!)put a little everyday and see the result after two years.
Everyday is precious, you can minimize the study time but don't skip 1 or 2 days.
You will see many distractions, just give a smile and pass.Don't get involved.
Never stick to one solution try to find another one or a shorter one.
Have a doubt?Ask immediately to your teacher or someone else.
Manage your concepts, formulas in a separate copy.Don't mix them with practice copies.
Choose two subjects as your priority.(I had choosen Maths and physics)
Previous years question papers are must.
Make a proper copy for the practiced question, this will help you in the end time.
For physics, solve previous year paper as many times as you can, you will definitely solve 9-10 questions very easily in jee exam.In books, I used HC Verma only.
For mathematics, practice different question from different sources and as much as you can.
For chemistry, justrevise repeat, revise repeat.
Set your topic priorities according to syllabus.(I had not covered each and every topics in physics and chemistry)
Join a test series this will help you to learn how to sit for 3 hrs and how to solve questions speedily.(I had not and that was my major mistake)
When it come to exam, calm yourself and solve the paper as you were doing in your test series.
Start with your favourite section.
Don't think what others are doing, make your own strategy.
Aim high, if you target 200 than you will be in a position to reach 150+.
It is not hard to get but just need some presence, dedication and hardwork.
Thank you!!
Hope this may help you......
