B.Tech admissions at NITs, IIITs and GFTIS: Candidates must have secured a minimum of 75% marks in their qualifying exams in addition to qualifying in JEE Main 2019 OR must be in the top 20 percentile of their 10+2 board.

You have to appear for improvement for 12th ti complete the basic eligibility.

If i give improvement exam Am I eligible for IIT JEE 2020?

Dear Aspirent , if your board score is not good then please apply for improvement exam then you should improve your Marks. You want to apply Jee 2020 you can score good , and if you are getting good rank then sure you got admission in top Nit .
