Hello,

Based on the cutoff of 2018 the cutoff of King George Medical College , Lucknow under state quota was 589.

So you have chances only if you have state quota.

You can check the previous year cutoffs using the link below,

https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cutoff-up

Similarly you have chances in Maulana Azad Institute of Dental Sciences, New Delhi if you have state quota.

Because the cutoff of 2018 was 603 under state quota and 662 under All India Quota.

You can check the cutoff using the link below,

https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cutoff-du

Every year the cutoff will vary based on the difficulty level of exam, no of applicants, no of seats available etc.

Hope this helped you!

All the best!

Hi Padma

First, you can get the preference based on your native state in state quota. Otherwise, you have to get a seat through the all India quota. Based on the previous year cut off marks, you will require the following marks to get a seat.

King George Medical College, Lucknow

  • State Quota 589

Maulana Medical College, Delhi

  • All India Quota 662
  • State Quota 603

So you have more chances to get a seat in both colleges. But you have more chances for the first one. Choose based on your interest. Every year cut off marks will vary.

All the best.

Hi padma

First of all rank is the major deciding factor and not the marks. Still a score of 580-610 is good enough to land you in some of the best colleges of your state.

If you belong to Delhi and the cutoff for various colleges under 85% state quota after 2nd round are as follows:

MAMC:623

VMMC:606

UCMS:603

LHMC:588

NDMC:592

BSA:586

After mop up, closing marks for Delhi are 580.

Since Delhi usually have a very high cutoff as compared to other states, you may get even the best college of your state with a score of 610. You have fair chances.

Good luck

Hello Padma !

Before answering your question, please accept my heartiest congratulations for securing such a mammoth score of 610 in this prestigious exam NEET 2019.

Jumping on to your question.

I will be quite frank with you.

Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi generally takes up the first 200 rankers in NEET.

And for being in the first 200, a score of 660 I guess would be a must considering the number of Examinees as well as the easy level of paper this year.

Hence, your chances of MAMC are truly quite narrow, almost nil.

However when we come to King George's Medical College, Lucknow. It's cutoff in the year 2018 stood at 589 for the AIQ. And for the State Quota it fell below yet again.

Comparing the score with that of yours,

Welcome to KGMU !

Obviously the cutoff trends vary every year and we could just predict based on previous year stats, yet with a score of 610, you seem to be on the safe side.

Feel free to ask anything.

All the Best !

Hello padma,

Congratulations !! Your score is good and Considering the previous year's Cutoff marks , it was 589 for King George medical college, that means you have chance of getting seat in that college,

But the previous year's Cutoff of Maulana Azad medical college of Delhi was 662 for students of unreserved category ,

So if you belong to reserved category then you too might have chances in this college as well,

I hope the above information is useful to you,

All the best!
