I scored 7.4 in 10th 83.6% in 12 and 75% in bsc and i am an OBC candidate what %ile I need in CAT to qualify for IIM Sirmaur
As you have mentioned that 10th percentage is 83. 6% and 12th percentage is 75% and SVPA in graduation with bsc is 7.4 .... Well, to take admission in top IIMs you need 85-95% in 10th and about 90+% in your intermediate.. According to which your percentage is somewhat low.. Now, if you want to recover this, you have a great chance.. If you want admission in the top IIMs or IIM bangalore or in top b schools, then you need to score 95% in your CAT exam... And to get a seat in IIM Sirmaur your need 87+% Percentile...Therefore, you really need to work extremely hard to score that.. It would be very tough... But don't loose hope and have faith on yourself...Nothing is impossible....
Wish you all the best!!!!!
I hope this would help you. For further queries please feel free to write me down in the comment box.
Your marks in 10th and 12th are not that good enough to get you in top bschools through profile based calls. But since you are a obc Candidate and also IIM Sirmaur has comparatively less cut off therefore you can get into the college if you secure a 95+ percentile. Nothing is difficult.. All you need is determination and focus to crack the exam.
All the best for your preparation..
