I scored 91.6% in cbse class 12, can i get admission in thapar or jiit?

Hello,
You score is quite good at HSC level. So, you are eligible to get admission in Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology. You also have to score good in JEE Mains. The eligibility criteria for 2020 is:
- Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with at least 60% marks and 55% for SC or ST candidates in aggregate of three subjects, namely, Physics, Mathematics and any one subject out of Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology and Technical Vocational subject or minimum 60% (55% for SC/ST candidates) marks in a Diploma recognized by AICTE or a state board of technical education of at least 3-year duration.
- Candidates must have appeared JEE Mains, 2019.
Yes, you are also eligible for Jaypee Institute of Information Technology University as the basic eligibility criteria of the university says:
The admissions will be both entrance and merit based. For the entrance based admissions, candidates will have to appear JEE Mains. The candidates who score 60% marks in the qualifying exam are eligible to apply for the admission.

This year Thapar institute has changed its admission criteria by allowing 100% admission on the basis of 10+2 marks.

Yes, the criteria is very recently changed, so you can apply for Thapar University with 91.6% score at HSC level, and the selection will be done on merit basis, which completely depends on the university. Good Luck!
