Hi Dhanush,
With a score of 60% plus in graduation level you can easily apply for CAT, IBSAT, XAT, GMAT, NMAT and all other management entrances you can think of. Now to get into any management college, you need to go through 2 basic processes, first is the entrance and the second is the WAT, GD and PI. The call for 2nd round (WAT, GD and PI) depends solely on the Entrance exam score.
Now, many colleges take into consideration the Entrance score, the WAT, GD and PI scores, the Graduation Marks and the Pre Graduation marks and make a combined score of all these factors to determine whether the student can get into the course or not.
Now since your pre-graduation score is low you need to prepare yourself well for all the other factors to ensure that you compensate for the 42% and get an easy pathway to the management college.
I suggest you to start preparing for the entrances and post entrance rounds of colleges as they are no cake walk.
I wish you all the very best for your preparation process.
With 60% in graduation, you can easily apply for all MBA entrance exams including CAT, XAT, MAT, CMAT, NMAT, SNAP, etc. Your marks in 10th, 12th and graduation will certainly get some weightage in the final merit list for most of the top B-schools but your performance in the entrance exam, GD, PI and Writing test will majorly be considered.
