I secured 76 percentile in jee mains exam. I belongung to ews category student am i eligible now to write jee advanced 2021.please kindly say

It's quite difficult to predict JEE mains qualifying cutoff to be eligible for JEE advanced examination as it keeps changing every year depending upon various factors like :-

*number of students that appeared in the  jee main exam,

*kind of marks obtained by them ,

*toughness level of the jee main examination for different shift etc.

But yes,

When we go through previous year trend then yes you  hold a good chance to qualify JEE main in order to be eligible for JEE advanced

From above it is clear that, last year qualifying cut off for ews category was  70.2435518  and expected jee main 2021 cut off for ews is 70-75  percentile . So with 76 percentile, you hold good chance to qualify JEE main 2021 to be eligible for JEE advanced examination being from ews

See the qualifying cut-off percentiles which needs to be cleared by any candidate to sit in JEE-Advance is released along with the final result of JEE-Main and for JEE-Main 2021 the final result will be released after all four attempts will be completed and the final result will be on the basis of your best score amongst different attempts.

However based on previous year's cut-off trends we can help you with the expected qualifying cut-offs for this year :-

• Common Rank List (CRL) - 90- 95 Percentile
• GEN-EWS - 70- 75 Percentile
• Other Backward Classes (OBC-NCL) - 70- 75 Percentile
• Scheduled Caste (SC) - 50- 55 Percentile
• Scheduled Tribe (ST) - 40- 45 Percentile
• PwD - 1-2 Percentile

So according to the above table you can qualify for JEE-Advance 2021 but still we have to wait for final result of JEE-Main 2021.
