I think you should wait for the CSAB Round.

In the CSAB Round having a CRL of 46k and EWS Rank of 7500, you will surely manage to secure a seat in Metallurgical/Chemical/Civil Engineering at you Home State NIT/GFTI.

BIT Mesra and IIEST Shibpur are also good options and are emninent technical institutes. You can easily get Chemical Engineering in BIT Mesra or Metallurgical Engineering at IIEST Shibpur by CSAB.

In case you want to study CSE/IT/EC, do try for the IIITs, perhaps you home state IIIT or an IIIT Near you.

Besides this, also apply for State Engineering College Counselling, as you have higher chances of securing a confirm seat there, at any top Engineering College in your respective state.

In case of Private Institutes accepting JEE Rank, do look out for TIET, Patiala or LNMIIT Gwalior,which are perhaps next to the best when it comes to IT/CSE and provide excellent career prospects post graduation.
