Hello,
Both BA (Maths) and Bcom (Maths) are good courses and have there own benefits. I would suggest that since you have a commerce background and you are interested in doing maths for your UG then you should go for Bcom in Mathematics, since you already have your basics for the commerce part and maths as your interest will abviously be a part.
BA stands for Bachelors of Arts, If you are interested in Political Science, Psychology, Sociology or other arts subjects you may go with BA.
B.com (http://b.com/) stands for Bachelors of Commerce, If you want to make your career in Finance, Marketing, Accounting/Tally then you may go with B.com.
Hello!
Both B.A. and B.Com B.Com are very good choices with mathematics. If you wish to study pure mathematics, the better choice would be to pursue B.A. as B.Com may be more like commercial mathematics.
But your scores would also factor in. To study at universities like DU, you would need more than 95% in your best four subjects, and to get into the top colleges of DU, you would need more than 98%, if you are from general category.
Apart from this, I would also like to say that you shouldn't limit your options to only B.A. or B.Com . Having studied commerce, you can opt for various fields in your undergraduate degree ranging from finance, management, auditing, to banking, insurance etc.
Hope this helps!!
